Alderr & Page · Resource notes
A clearer approach to WhatsApp line-release requests.
When a business number is attached to another WhatsApp Business Account, a well-organised request can make the access problem easier to understand. Keep the technical outcome clear, the evidence chronological and the supporting documents consistent.

Start with the outcome
A request to release a number and a request to investigate conduct serve different purposes. Present them separately, rather than making restored access depend on a conduct decision.
Primary request
Identify the line, the account or portfolio holding it, and the destination business portfolio. State that the requested outcome is removal from the existing WABA and a new registration by SMS.
Secondary request
Describe the relevant relationship and any competitive context factually. A conduct review is distinct from asking for another account to be taken down or seeking compensation from Meta.
Business impact
If you had to register a replacement number, include that in the chronology. Restoring the original line and documenting the disruption are separate parts of the request.
Do not assume that releasing an asset will also lead to sanctions against the account holding it. Keep the technical request specific and independently actionable.
Build a readable chronology
Include every relevant request to remove the number, not only the first exchanges. Dated screenshots and audio messages should support one clear sequence of events.
Arrange removal requests and replies in order, with enough context to understand each exchange.
Keep the conversation export and its audio files together so voice-message requests are not lost.
Keep screenshots of the Meta support conversation alongside the current PDF and the complete conversation archive.
Before sending
A document can look correct on screen while still containing old text underneath. Check both its appearance and what happens when someone copies or searches the text.
Do not cover previous pages with white panels or stamp new versions over old ones. Rebuild the PDF so superseded footers, duplicate indexes and hidden text are removed.
Check the index, exhibit references and hash table against the final page order. A supplement described as coming first should not appear at the end.
The visible declaration should contain its date and signature, not blank placeholders. Do not rely on a filename or an embedded attachment to show that it was signed.
Avoid redundant records exposing personal identifiers, expired documents and irrelevant business activities. Replace production notes about AI, image reconstruction or missing media with a concise integrity statement and file hashes.
Ownership and privacy
Check Meta’s current evidence requirements before delaying a submission for a carrier letter. If a document is unavailable, ask which alternative evidence is accepted.
An LGPD data request is a route to explore when ownership information is needed. If the carrier does not respond, escalation through Anatel may be appropriate. Confirm the current process before submitting personal information.
An uninterrupted Meu TIM screen recording showing the account holder’s name and number can provide supplementary context. It should support, rather than replace, the evidence requested by the reviewer.
Where a CNPJ record already establishes the business details, avoid adding a redundant CICAD record that exposes a full CPF or introduces outdated information.
